About Multipoint Pacing

Patients with a diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure and who require a Biventricular pacer (Bi-V pacer), there is a new lead out that is being used to get an even better squeezing ability from the heart. The multi-point pacing allows for multiple pacing sites on the Left Ventricular (LV) lead. These multiple sites simultaneously activate within the left ventricle to cover more area of the LV. This gives the best squeezing ability of the heart when paced with a Biventricular ICD device.

This technology is a new cutting edge therapy for Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) and Biventricular paced patient. This therapy is one more weapon to battle CHF symptoms and help reduce hospital readmissions.
